Miscellaneous
Parents should supply an extra set of "old" clothes to keep at school. Infants should also supply diapers. Depending on the weather, appropriate outerwear should be worn (boots, gloves, hats, etc.). There is outdoor play almost every day, except for rain, “too” deep snow or “too” freezing temperatures. Even on days like those, we always open the door and “breath” the fresh air for a few minutes. Indoor and outdoor toys and activities suitable for the child's age level will be available for use at all times. Time will be provided for ample outdoor play (weather permitting). Naptime
Nap time for the children will be in the main playroom (living room). The children sleep on mats, which are sanitized every day. They each
have their own blanket and pillow with their names on it, which will be provided by The Robin's Nest. Peggy
and/or her assistant will monitor the children during this time. Pre-K children, with their parent’s
permission, have a choice during this time – nap or quiet activities.
